JOURNALISTS FROM 30 COUNTRIES GATHER IN BARCELONA FOR PEPCOM'S MOBILEFOCUS GLOBAL EVENT
A record 200+ journalists from 30 countries gathered at MobileFocus Global demo event to get a glimpse of the latest in mobile technology!
The big press showcase was held in Barcelona on February 15th, the opening day of the Mobile World Congress® trade show. MobileFocus was the largest media gathering during the show, with over 200 press attendees and dozens of top technology companies showing their latest innovations.
MobileFocus Global, an independent showcase produced by Pepcom Inc., is an invitation-only demo event that gives journalists and industry analysts the opportunity to preview the newest mobile products and services from dozens of leading technology companies. This year's event featured an eclectic group of companies, including Atheros, Bsquare, Corning, Dell, DeviceAnywhere, Ditech Networks, DivX, Garmin Asus, GetJar, HP, Intel, Intrinsyc, Marvell, MFLEX, PacketVideo, Powermat, Qualcomm, Rambus, RIM, SanDisk, Sierra Wireless, Sonim, SRS Labs, Swype, Synaptics, TCS, Texas Instruments and Wi-Ex.
The record crowd of press attendees at this year's event represented a wide variety of international print, broadcast, and online media outlets. "This year's MobileFocus Global was clearly the most global event we've ever held," said Jon Pepper, a founding partner of Pepcom Inc.
