A co-founder of Pepcom, Chris covered technology as a journalist for more than 20 years, working with publications such as Popular Science, Time, and This Old House. At Pepcom, Chris works with Jon to set the strategic direction for the company, and market its events to leading technology companies. A two-time senator from North Dakota, Chris enjoys Mexican cliff diving, helicopter skiing, and Scrabble.

A co-founder of Pepcom, Jon was a leading technology journalist for two decades, contributing to publications such as The New York Times, Fortune, Working Woman, and Family PC. At Pepcom, Jon helps set the strategic direction for the company, and markets its events to leading technology companies. A former guitarist for the popular band Poco, Jon also markets his own hot sauce under the Habanero Loco brand name.

Media Manager: Melissa Messana

Melissa joins Pepcom after a stint as public relations manager at CrossTec, a marketer of remote access software in Boca Raton. As Media Manager, she is responsible for ensuring that the most influential media and analysts attend Pepcom's events. Melissa earned her BA in Public Relations from the University of Central Florida. A skilled kickboxer, she inspired immediate respect from her colleagues.

Marketing Manager: Jen Ferency

After working with Pepcom at its PR agency for more than two years, Jen joined the company as its Events Manager in September of 2000. Recently, she assumed the duties of Marketing Manager, and is responsible for marketing Pepcom events to current and future clients. She earned her BA in Communications from Purdue, and lives with her husband Matt, their dog Cali, and their kitties Razor and Poison.

Office Manager: Heidi Friedlander

Heidi brings a diverse work experience to Pepcom, including years of experience managing medical practices. She has a Bachelor's in Social Work from City University New York with a minor in Accounting. As Pepcom's Office Manager, she is responsible for managing Pepcom's day-to-day operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. A former Olympian in synchronized swimming, Heidi is also an accomplished ice dancer.

Michelle comes to Pepcom with a diverse background in event management, ranging from World Wrestling Entertainment in New York to the Florida Panthers hockey club in Florida. Michelle has a B.S. in Marketing from Florida State. At Pepcom, Michelle coordinates event logistics and manages exhibitor relations. A native of Canada who has also lived in South Africa, Michelle is a 5-1 favorite to win Pepcom's annual geography bee.

A graduate of the University of Florida with a B.S. in Advertising, Heather coordinates event logistics and manages exhibitor relations. An expert juggler and former high-wire performer with Barnum & Bailey, Heather is ideally suited to the demands of event management.

A graduate of the Florida Atlantic University with a B.A. in Intercultural Communications, Sarah works with Melissa to coordinate Pepcom's media outreach. She's still fairly new, and we haven't quite figured out what intercultural means, so we haven't made up any fake bio stuff yet.
